seriously, the one time i recall it being actually done is with the Sword Calamity.
unless there's been more occurrences in them more recent C.E. Mangas.

Sword Impulse destroy a lot of ships during Destiny. The first time when Shinn first got into SEED mode and the second time during the battle against ORB.

SRW Gameplay standpoint, it has plenty of damage and (I think) have barrier reduction effect. Also every mech that have zankantou normally quite tanky.

thanks for the memory jog. and i am also reminded that i have yet to actually watch SEED Destiny in full. might do that just for the double Excalibur Anti Ship Swords.
