When I first looked, though, it seemed like there was a ton of hypodermics on the table, and I thought maybe Fubuki sat down on a table just vacated by Motley Crue or something.

Nah, the flavor of sweet coffee with cream or milk is marvelous. I'm a coffee purist, but I also like to drink cappuccinos or lattes sometimes.

Well, I don't find that I like the flavor of tea that much better. Fortunately, I'm also not particularly into caffeine (mostly, perhaps, because I take ADHD medication and straight-up amphetamines generally make caffeine redundant), so I just generally don't have much of either.

On the uncommon occasions where I go to Starbucks and order a caffe mocha - either because I've forgot my meds or because I'm being social with coffee drinkers - I do admit to myself that I'm basically getting a chocolate milk with coffee in it.

... Which just unpacked Denis Leary's "Mötley Crüe would never overdose" rant in my head. "You could lock them in a room with two tons of crack, they'd come out an hour later, 'Rock on man!' Shit, they're still alive. Now they're probably gonna make another double live album. Goddammit."

So now I have this entire scenario in my head where Fubuki is an angry chain-smoking stand-up comedian who people think is just ripping off Bill Hicks.
