I kind of hoped for cooler mons for the sword and shield mascots. These guys remind me too much of the muskateers from gen 5 and way too much of solgaleo

Personally I'd gone away from dogs and cats Pokemons as a whole, we already had way too many of those.
And it's not like they're using the lesser known species of dogs and cats with unique designs like maned wolf or caracals, they're always just the generic dog(or wolf) and cat.
Though with the logo being what it was, not expecting it to be a wolf was kind of reaching in itself.
