I still remember this day we did this in real life too..... Where we set up a little cashier stand and had to do groceries with big plastic coins and plastic food items and we were tasked to count up the prices on the products to the money we had available to us....
Now, I just see grocery shopping as this little game we humans like to play, where one or more people have decided upon that certain actions that I do in a day, is evaluated into a set amount of monetary gain, although there are others who do certain actions that are less straining and for shorter amounts of time than me, yet get evaluated as even more monetary gain, because that is just some thing that was "decided by the grown-ups". So now I got my little coins and notes, so I can go queue up to buy products that a small ill person in another country made for fifty to a hundred times less, than the price I will be buying it for in the shop.
Talk about backfire for a little school experiment. Did it teach me to grow up, a complete and total pessimist?
