Personally, I don't really care for Coca-Cola, for which I put the blame squarely upon my mother only letting me have caffine-free Diet Coke when I was a kid until I couldn't stand the flavor any longer. (I'll drink other colas, though.) When I was on a trip in Europe, however, they had Coke that was bottled in Uzbekistan or someplace in eastern Europe, where it was obviously meant to be the same stuff, but was subtly different enough that I actually enjoyed it.

It's the real sugar. The sugar makes a difference, especially if it's cane or other real sugar versus being corn syrup.
