I like this grown-up Akatsuki best since the reason she acts like a child is because the 6th DesDiv's maturity is proportional to how long they lived historically. In Akatsuki's case, she acts like a 10-year-old because she is 10 years old. Ikazuchi and Inazuma are 12 years old and Hibiki is at least 37 years old (I couldn't find exactly when she was sunk). It's for this reason that I just don't see Akatsuki's childish nature hanging around forever.

1970s in Vladivostork(sp?). Now a diving attraction.
Most arts illustrate Hibiki as the most mature and level-headed of them as if she's been through anything.
But then again that's quite true for most long white-haired girls.

Have to disagree about this Akatsuki being out of her Lady phase.

She's still clearly trying to project a ladylike image with the key difference being that she has a better understanding of what a lady should do and say.

Also she has probably done more real Lady things than she would have been allowed to when she still looked like a child.
