You really gotta wonder why they do this, I've seen chromatic aberration work in some art, and yet in others, they just annihilate what is otherwise an amazing piece of art.

If i were to guess, the artist wanted to convey to the viewer something like: "You've just absorbed several lifetimes worth of radiation and are mere moments from dropping dead."
Well, I suppose thats fair, but goodness does it hurt my eyes, then again, she does house a god of the sun in her body, and you don't look directly at the sun so there's that idea..
