    (Quick Sketch)

    Tribute to Kyoto Animation regarding the tragic event that just happened earlier today.

    I have just received word that "Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" director, Yasuhiro Takemoto, is one of the victims who died in the event. But as of now, we are still yet to receive official statement of their deaths for confirmation.

    I send my deepest condolences.

    Are you sure I mean it could just be a false report I mean they have not released the names of the deceased and some folk are still missing

    To my knowledge, there is no one missing as all persons were accounted for. Aside from the delay in officially reporting the deceased until after the bodies are examined, there are only a handful of people mentioned as being confirmed as safe (some of these being people who were, thankfully, not at the studio) and no confirmed fatalities at this point. There were also 7 visitors from outside kyo-ani.

    The sad thing is that most of the deaths appear to be in the same area, right before a fire-exit (which wasn't improperly locked or anything). I remember from the report on The Station Fire that 96 of the 100 fatalities occurred within the first minutes of the fire.

    I read on Reddit how many of the people were trying to make it to the roof but firefighters reported that they never made it there. The heat from the fire rising up was too strong so people collapsed right before making it to the doors... there were 20 people piled on top of each other all trying to reach that final sliver of salvation..... what a horrible way to go. 😣

    Right when I thought the story could not get worse. No one, no one should go like that.
