    Tactical Hibiki (First Part)

    After the war with the Abyssal Fleet, the government, fearing the power of the shipgirls, seized their equipment and transferred the function of the Naval Base to the office of Naval Interdiction Operations... sort of thing.

    This is just a little breather of a story. It has nothing to do with the main plot or anything.

    And also all the AK clones, Chinese or otherwise. It really is one of the easiest weapons of that type for a rag-tag bunch of ne'er-do-wells to obtain, maintain and supply; also in that a low-quality AK-knockoff will still spray bullets pretty effectively (if not accurately) in the direction you want it to go.

    Also obvious, but AKs are probably the cheapest way to get 7.62x39mm rounds. These go through pretty much any civilian equipment the police might have, and pretty much anything short of metal armor can still take fatal damage.

    Ideal for people who combating such people in an urban setting.
