According to Wikipedia, Yuudachi torpedoed Portland, which survived the battle and sank what was left of Yuudachi. It was Amatsukaze that torpedoed Juneau, which was later sunk by another torpedo from I-26.

Well... according to the Eric Hammel book "Guadalcanal: Decision at Sea", Yuudachi spotted the Americans first and swerved away to make a hasty retreat. After battle was well and truly underway, Yuudachi charged right back in, cut right through the American line right behind Juneau and pulled up alongside her to engage in a point-blank gunnery duel. Juneau only managed to get about 30 shots away in ripple-fire before Yuudachi managed to cripple it with at least one torpedo from a full 8-tube salvo. Mind you, while I was doing the math about how long the engagement took and how long the torpedoes had to travel, I ran out of expletives to describe Yuudachi's utter insanity as it became clear that it was far more likely that all the other torpedoes didn't run long enough to arm rather than missed. Yuudachi's second full 8-tube torpedo salvo was aimed at Portland but according to the book, they all missed and Portland was instead hit by a torpedo from either Ikazuchi or Inazuma.
