So, he's a Twitch Gamer, as opposed to a Strategist most TTKs are believed to be.
Edit: I take that back. He's just good at being in the frontlines where split-second decision-making is more important than strategic-level planning. He's just too focused on the task at hand.
Probably Demon Bell - the thing that makes the game harder.
Ohh, okay, gotcha.
Apparently they're talking about something that they can 'return', so I'm going to assume they're talking about the Bell Demon item. Changing translation accordingly.

It's not really a carrying item but an environment item you can interact with: if you know it the game becomes harder, and if you knock it again the game returns to normal level.

The wiki of Sekiro mentioned something called a Bell Demon, which is not the environmental bell that you ring, but something that you can use to return the game's difficulty to normal.
Since 鐘苦難 has the kanji of bell(鐘) come first, I was assuming this was what they were talking about.
Man... I really empathize with Admiral Hisamura here. I've tried a lot of chess but have never been able to learn any strategies other than "4-move mate" but put me in charge of Command: Modern Operations and I end up repeatedly beating Pyrpolitis 1-14 without any application of luck whatsoever.
Was it ever mentioned what this "Ogasawara incident" was?
I assume it's the one where he had to put down the medic to stop her from mercy killing their squadron?
...If that ability comes from the effort to understand my comrades, for my comrades......I have no intention of a repeat of the Ogasawara incident.Gambier Bay's been bragging about "clearing the 8th Bell Demon playthrough"!!...Yep, thought so. Release it.It is you, so I suppose you've been affiliating with the Bell Demon from the start. All action genres, including those that involve body movement, are the ones he excels in....Then I suppose it hasn't been for nothing.Intrepid couldn't defeat the "butterfly", right? Now thenThank You Very Much! But, but!...Admiral's good at those types of games, huh.Well, he did get into ballet really easily.I'll show you parrying and low attack coverage, so pay attention.
