The situation here is dire indeed. It's on the verge of a pandemic. Though the shelves thing seems to have been a media stunt where they emptied them just to take some panic-inducing pictures.

Really? I can't trust the news anymore...
How sad... Who am I to believe, then?

    Those not reporting panics. Really.
The good ones will try to be calm at time like this.
Ask Vietnameses. They are pretty chilled in the middle of all this, having even offered to treat Korean tourists for free should they be diagnosed with the virus. Sad thing Korean's foreign affairs must go through to say stuff like Vietnam mistreated their citizens just so their foreign affair minister had to go on public to apologize to Vietnam. lol
And Vietnam is still pretty chilled about that too, albeit Vietnameses are still mocking Koreans about the incident.

You need water to cook pasta FYI.

In any case, currently in Lombardy (which has something like 1/4th of the entire country's GDP) there's a state of emergency and most people are forced to work from home, and all social places like cinemas, gyms etc are closed due to emergency laws. In the "red area" people can't even leave their own house. Most hospitals are filled to the brim with bed-ridden patients and our healthcare system, which has always been absolute garbage, is straining hard in the areas that have been hit hard by the virus. If the cases increase exponentially like they've done in the past week (1000 new cases in the last two days!), shit's gonna hit the fans pretty fast.

Yep I am in the southern island(Sicily) and it's still relatively safe here, only a few confined cases so far.... *so far*
