    Cirno is holding a Talavera dish, a kind of pottery typical from the center of Mexico, specially from Puebla, the state where the Battle of (you guessed) Puebla between Mexican forces against the French army took place.

    May 5th (Cinco de Mayo) is the commemoration of that day that for some reason is the most celebrated holiday in the United States.
