Nice to see Akagi-chan is still a little jerk.

Nah, just a kid having fun... and being egged on by her friend.

Akashi, on the other hand, may need more than nine lives at this rate.

    Solarchos said:

I'd probably go with the latter. Akashi seems to be a massive troublemaker.

Looks like Enterprise agrees with you. As does the Royal Navy and Her Flatness.

So if Akashi was skinned with every little ship found, that would make it seven times already plus the two that's coming to her.
Which means with this skinning session her menace will finally stop... or she cheats death and comes back twice as dangerous, that's possible.

As a side note, Lil' Lusty reminds me of this.

Okay, I've got to be honest, I thought "Helo Dunker" was a typo before seeing this comic.

I've also got to note that Renown's deadbeat response to the helo-dunker proves that little kansen aren't the same as human children.

That marine at the fourth frame looks like the Marine from a comic series about life in the USMC, I forgot the name.

Not Hartmann, the hat is wrong, I was referring to a comic made by a Marine.

That they are more terrifying than any of the plagues Moses ever unleashed on Egypt.

The stupid shit that could happen will either astound you, or utterly terrify you.

We need a "Things Involving Shipgirls that are No Longer Allowed - Azur Lane edition".

... Doesn't that rule apply to every branch of the military? Idle hands are the devil's workshop and all that (on that note, Enty is doing what Akagi Prime was too lazy to do effectively- keeping Akagi-chan busy, and therefore occupied).

Yes, but there is this perception of marines being considered noticeably dumber than the other branches (the entire 'crayons are snacks' thing, etc).

I had a brother who was in the Marines so I can attest that this is true from personal experience.

I kinda wanted to defend the Marines for a moment, but then I remembered my brother joined the Marines a little while ago and my first interaction with him since he enlisted was a video call that got interrupted by other Marines trying to get him to open a can of bean dip since none of them could figure out how.

I think they ended up using a shovel thingy.

    You mean the e-tool?

I bet they accidentally tore off the loop and had to figure out how to open without it.

They should also have been issued a manual can opener, or failing that, go to mess and find an opener.

... I am just disappointing myself more and more now.

Hartmann used that hat in the Mail Call show he used to host.

I think the opposite of this would be the cyberwarfare branch. Those guys are scary good at compromising stuff. Although to be fair, on the civilian side, there is a non-trivial amount of NSA cryptographers with genuine autism - they make the guards at Fort Meade drive them to and from work.

I don't know about Marine Corps helo dunkers, but at the Navy ones they give you a pretty thorough brief of what is going to happen and what you need to do to pass the training.
