  • 特大型水陸両用車

    メチャデカいその巨体はあらゆる軟質な地面をメチャメチャにしながら走り回る
    見かけから想像できる通りいろんなコンテナを載せたソリやら船やらを引っ張るぞ

    Special Large Amphibious Vehicle

That huge frame runs on all kinds of soft terrain and makes a mess of it.
As you can picture from looking at it, it can tug ships or sleds carrying all kinds of containers.

Not entirely science fiction. Steam engines with the corkscrew drive did actually exist. They were mostly used in snowy climates to move sleds full of logs I believe. I don't remember if there was ever an amphibious version, though there certainly could have been. Slapping an electromotive on it is kinda neat though. It would definitely have some advantages over both wheeled and tracked vehicles in some terrains.

Now this reminds me of that bit with Colin Furze that made his own personal craft with two large screws

    Really? Downvoting THIS?

I think the science fiction tag from the original post is referring to the robot on the small boat

Not only steam engines! The Americans experimented in the 50s or 60s with this design.
