I wonder if Gundam would ever make an anime that would introduce a "fantasy" realm where there's magic and stuff but still mechs like Gundams and the like. It would be an attention grabbing twist on the same Gundam formula.
Probably have to really flesh it out so that it doesn't fall on it's face, but I think it be a interesting endeavor in any case.

I think the closest thing they've done to that (aside from SD Gaiden) is the Burai manga, which has a feudal Japanese setting. Idk how much magic there is it since none of it is translated and even the wiki doesn't have any information beyond the bare premise, but if that ever gets animated it could be the most magic Gundam thing there is outside of other series like Dunbine and Break Blade.
