I don't understand why this is in "The Sad Truth of Gensoukyou" - does anyone seriously think Rinnosuke is supposed to be happy about the creepy attention he's getting? I'm pretty sure any young boy would be scared if Yukari and/or Eirin approached him like this.

It's in "The Sad Truth of Gensoukyou" precisely because of what you're talking about. Yukari and Eirin here are a couple of perverts who want to take advantage of a little boy. And poor little Rinnosuke is as utterly freaked out as you can imagine at the creepy attention the two of them are giving him.
