Yes, but Zeppelin was still in a submerged state when the Red Army took the city, so they managed to pump out the water, patch up the ship and even drive it to Danzig. Exactly the same fate happened with the the last Admiral Hipper class heavy cruiser Seydlitz, but it was expected to be used as a donor for the completion of Lutzöw, also known as Tallinn.

In conclusion, the real end of Graf Zeppelin was also quite harsh, because repairing her was about to be expensive and too long to hide it from Allies (counts as type C trophey, must be sunk or scrpapped), so she was used as target bombing practice in 1947.
