Honestly, I do wish more artist understand the characters better if there going to draw things like these and Momiji hates Aya as well.

that revelation was a big shit show. A lot of people were getting mad at ZUN himself for daring to write such a opposite "Canon" of what fandom had been drawing the entire time. Same goes for Canon Chen as well.

There is a lot of stuff fans that never played the games hated about Canon in Touhou. Mostly, many of them have no prior information about their personality, so fans like to put whatever they wanted to in them. Even though their canon personality is actually not so vile as it seems. They're mostly mischievous, just like what you expect from a 100+year old Youkai would be.

Well, according to the first picture, it showed that scratched, it was 166 years old tengu; and who's to say that tengu ages different from humans? she probably was a child through i assume were the 1960's/70's. and she became a young adult/teenager when POFV was released at 2006-ish?

That's what it is. See the first image with what looks like a 9 and 7 before the 6 (year-old tengu) scratched out. Aya 970 years ago wouldn't even be wearing clothes like this.
