It is said that the tower was built around a giant Bellsprout which protects it from disaster. The tower has stood for hundreds of years against earthquakes and hurricanes and it will stand for hundreds more. The Bellsprout which have made the sacred tree their home defend the tree from parasites and in turn, the leaf litter from the tree provide nutrients for the bellsprout to thrive. The harmony between pokemon and nature has inspired monks to learn from their example.
