I can't seem to see who is cosplaying as Shinji.

Switching to rei cosplay I don't see any shinji cosplay either but that's rei's plugsuit.

I think the Idea was that the brunete was Shinji or Maya.
It could be Makoto, but this seems to be Gainax only.

...But they have red eyes...Shinji's are brown...

They looked kind of brown, could it be the light or is it some freak Rei/Shinji chimera?

Well she has some pudding in her hands and Makoto from Toki Kake had a thing for pudding towards the start of the film.

That could be it, Sadamoto handled Makoto's character design, and she's basically a female version of his manga Shinji.

Shinji's plug suit isnt here, and all the characters included are female, so Shinji obviously isn't in here. That's another character as a cosplay in rei's plug suit....which still doesn't match any particular pattern. Someone please identify the character in Rei's plug suit!

'shinji' is actually yui, his mom. in nge, yui is absorbed into unit one and her genetics are mixed with an angels which creates rei.

so really there shouldn't be a shinji tag, rather a 'ikari yui' tag

Now that identification is done. Lets get down to the real question everyone wants to know. Who's gonna win?

the only one i'm sure of is asuka. true she is riding kanada's bike, but then doing so never helped tetsuo. ^_^; she would probably be lagging behind due to a super low sync rating XD
