So, Gamby's probably the only Allied ship other than Iowa and Warspite who isn't brainwashed. I'm not sure if that's just a follow-up of if this is going to be important somehow.

And good God they are embracing the worst aspects of the Soviet Union. Ordinarily I like Helena and Washington but I can't stand them right now. I really hope this is temporary.

This is certainly temporary for this arc only. The mind-control is induced via drinks and so should be much easier to be processed/ flushed out of their systems than direct attacks on the brain like subliminal messaging (Hyuuga), hypnosis (Got) or machinery-induced mindhax (Abyssals).
