Not 100% sure on how the date is intended to be interpreted here.
If it's 2016 by the typical Western calendar (which would make the most sense for the date this sort of camera would generate), then even if Pekora was on the older end for a 1st year Elementary student in Japan (7 years old), then she'd still only be 12 today in 2021 which seems way too young for any realistic interpretation of her current character or IRL persona.
If it's Heisei 16 (2004), then she'd be 23 or 24 in 2021, which would be fairly plausible for IRL Pekora, if not the character.
If we go by the character age of 111 as of September 2020, and say she was born on January 12 1909, then this photo should be 1916 (which I guess is the most likely intent since the numbers line up well), but the fashion and architectural style and such are way too modern for WWI era Japan. Not to mention cameras in 1916 didn't have embedded 7-segment date displays built in, and generally speaking weren't in color.

Ah, but check the school name - it isn’t in Japan, it’s in Pekoland. Their 1916 architecture lines up with this design.
