  • Yoshika JASDF T-4

A Kawasaki T-4 of the JASDF wearing a special paint Strike Witches scheme. All created in photoshop. This piece took about a day and a half to complete. The aircraft is vectored and gradient adjustments applied. Yoshika is also vectored. On top layers a couple of gradient maps were used. The clouds is a brush along with the textures on the moon.

I had a vision to do this project as a paring of the witches to what I think would be suitable modern aircraft of their respective country. In this example, Yoshika is paired with a Kawasaki T-4. It seemed fitting for this combo. The Kawasaki T-4 is Japan's own subsonic trainer aircraft. Upon arriving to the 501st squadron, Yoshika was the least experienced of all the witches. Stay tuned, Mio is coming next.
