    Japanese convenience store chain Lawson changed the package design of its private brands in the spring of 2020. While some praised it as sophisticated and cute, others criticized it as too sophisticated to distinguish.

    That' plus printing ink is literally the priciest man-made liquid in the world. There's also other brands that already did so, such as Muji (literal translation: 'No Brand').
