She did mention earlier she hates his coffee but I'm guessing she wouldn't care about the details so long as it's black.

Looking back at this comic after getting more familiar with the AK cast, Flint and Kal’tsit seem to be acting in-character, oddly enough.

Flint, because she’s exactly the type of person to pick a fight with anyone she thinks is strong, yet immediately be distracted by her first taste of processed sugar.

Kal’tsit, because she’s been around the block enough to realize exactly what’s going on and bribes the new girl with sweets to avoid putting her in the infirmary.
