    It´s the type 61 earth federation main battle tank it have a twin 105mm cannon, 12.7mm machinegun, smoke discharger and flash bangs; the 131 it´s the number of Herman Yandell custom unit

    Why 105mm? Even now 105mm cannon is outmatched by large calibers such as NATO's 120mm and Russian 125mm. How could that tank from 100 years later still use 105mm?

    Either way, he's wrong. It uses twin 155 mm guns, not 105mm. By the way, if you haven't seen MS Igloo: The Gravity Front episode 2, you might want to. It's what this picture was based on.

    With well designed APFSDS, 20 or so milimeter difference
    in caliber is almost irrelevant to the actual performance.

    Most Mobile-Suits v.s. Conventional-Weapons scenes emphasize on the mobility of the mobile suits, which is why the M61s were constantly portrayed as getting smashed trying to outmanuver the enemies.
