Shuhari roughly translates to "to keep, to fall, to break away".- shu (守) "protect", "obey"—traditional wisdom—learning fundamentals, techniques, heuristics, proverbs
- ha (破) "detach", "digress"—breaking with tradition—detachment from the illusions of self
