I think the TL for the last bubble could be improved. Iku just claimed that magic changed the color of her hair; the response by the POV speaker should be one of disbelief, not "that excuse is not viable".
I'll admit, the first thing that occurred to me was "What is this, the Santa Clause?", but that's a dated, gratuitous localization.

Well, that's what the text says.
The POV speaker appears to be a disciplinary teacher. Giving her a dressing down because they presumed Iku has dyed her hair (and worn colored contacts).
If this happens in real life the response is going to be quite similar. Tired, mild incredulity ("you seriously think that excuse is gonna fly?") instead of utter shocked disbelief. Disciplinary teachers in Asian countries tell off students all the time for dyed hair so they have heard all sorts of excuses and justifications before.
(Though every now and then you get one hardnosed teacher [or a couple] who wouldn't believe a student's hair is natural, causing all sorts of issues until the student is forced to their dye their hair black. Sometime this happens even if the student has a parent and doctor note certifying that their hair color is genuine, because some stick-on-their-ass educators still think it's a disciplinary issue and a "bad example" to other students for an Asian student to go around with light-colored hair, natural or not.)

I read an article about it, how sometimes students with foreign characteristics are forced to dye their hair to a "normal" color. But I was just skimming it, so I can't remember the story. I don't know if that xenophobia or the social machine that tries to destroy any possible trace of individuality in each person so they better fit in said machine.
I think in Maid Dragon, Kobayashi says something about "They want everybody needs to be the same at school" when seeing the uniforms when buying school materials for Kana.
Narahara... not only are you late, what is going on with your hair?I-It was like this when I woke up...No matter how many times I tried to dye it, it went right back...That's not even close to being a viable excuse, you know. And take out those colored contacts.
