At the risk of sounding sarcastic or like Captain Obvious, it's the art style. Kourin's using one of Light's expressions.

Thought it was just me. I haven't really watched DN(just glimpses of it) so I wasn't so sure. Another thing is that there wasn't a parody tag so I was a bit doubtful

It most certainly is a Death Note parody. I'll add the appropriate tags.

Kourin's lines in the last panel are pretty much, verbatim, a quote from the last (or second to last) Deathnote chapter, so yeah. Art and words are both parodies.

This comic gets a little more disturbing if you've read the 'King of Gensokyo' h-doujin series, though.
