I don't recall it having anything to do with ki. I think it was that her race was just naturally stronger than the others.

You only watch shows that involve ki, as opposed to shows which produce the same effects without actively mentioning it?

I've been collecting anime for just under 20 years and that's the first time I've heard somebody basing their viewing off of that. Anime fandom is still showing me new things. Cool.

Hurr... No, I don't only watch shows that involve it. The truth is I have no interest in this show at all but if ki was a part of the story, I'd have reconsidered. It was just the deciding factor for this series is all.
