How inspired by Aura Battler Dunbine do we think this is?

Not that much really, sure it has insectoid features but it doesn't really have the curves of Dunbine ya know? Has some of that Hajime Katoki™ writing all over the mecha to make it seem more real robot, but I digress I give it 5/10 on the Dunbine scale of insectoid mecha design.

No, it is strikingly similar to last Dunbine work, The Wings of Rean main machine Nanajin.

I'm not familiar with all the Byston Well based works so I was ignorant, Nanajin though huh, I'll give it a look.
