Looks more like Arf and Fate are doing their best Elzam/Sanger impersonations. They're about to charge down the side of a cliff and cleave some poor helpless battleship in two.
And on that note, how did Fate ever get to be so closely associated with Sanger? If it's just Bardiche = Zankantou then Wodan is a much better fit for her.
