Now that’s way back in time in the little nuns's lore, isn’t it? (I hope we can get more story of the nuns, specially who was protagonist nun's mother, and where did all of the other nuns came from (aside of Hookbang)
I mostly imagine the Little Nunnery universe to be set around the time of Don Camillo, Guareschi's [ a good royalist anti-fascist/communist ] creation --- so around the early 1950s. Hookbang's father definitely looked like a French or Italian bourgeois of that time. Could of course stretch that decade by decade to today, though the 1970s seem the most innocent compared with now.
If set in 1960, say, this image would be in 1910 --- so the Mother Superior would have been born about 1890, assuming aged 20 here.
.
Unless of course, the whole thing is set in the 1930s, with a French 'Clochmerle' atmosphere, in which case she was born around the collapse of the French 2nd Empire...
i vaguely imagine I may have seen transistor radios and such symbols of the 1960s on; but haven't noticed enough detailing personally.
.
Although not anti-religious, nor pro, I can only say that as a boy I would not have wanted to be educated in a monastery.
I'm sorry, but I will no longer be posting on Sundays, I will post six days a week. This is because I'm trying to increase my input and output in a variety of areas in order to make my works better.

I hate to throw cold water on ya but the default language is English here, not Spanish. And until proven other wise, this world setting seems to be set in a fictional world than the real one.
