Extended notes on "reset marathon"
ResetMara, short for "Reset Marathon". Usually refers to playing through a particular segment of a video game again and again to force a desirable result from the RNG. This includes gacha-scumming, especially on new accounts with the starting free draws.

It’s not like it only happens with gacha game. WR speedrun attempts also do reset, but this is more of a chore for RPGs genre. Since the speedrun always tries to complete the game as low leveled as possible, it always ends up with Low level party in general and bad RNG can screw the attempts altogether. They also don’t save the game unless there is specific strategy to exploit. I haven’t mentioned it yet, but most JRPG speedrun can run up to 10 hours in one sitting.
SMT series are popular for speedrun for a crucial fact that the game reward weakness exploit better and that you generally can dump stats into one place and ends up with overpowered build.
Awwight!
Time for the lottery.
With the power of this little baby here... the Alarm Clock. Wanna see dreams come true?
In the Umamusume game the Alarm Clock is a consumable that acts as a "continue" item in the "training mode" story races, letting one redo a race up to three times.
