Oh right, literal 50k also being used figuratively. Same pun also used semi-often on social media whenever anyone hits 50k followers. Flew over my head.

You know, I actually realized that as a translator I feel myself standing next to Air Groove with the same reaction towards needing to translate puns that involves Japanese metaphors and culter along with the contex of the pun. I wanna see a Being Air Groove and Translator is Suffering tag lol.

I don't think there is a metaphor in english that uses 50k as part of the expression so just to save the headache I suggest say something like "We have fans by the millions" and then add in small grey text the explanation of ごまんと.

Manage to squeak out a pun. Kinda groan-inducing though. Hopefully Paracite or tehSandwich has something better.

(I suppose we could also go for "fifty shades of neigh" or something along those lines.)
