LOL I knew it, everyone has the same problem playing Project Diva, really really distracting.
But Len is such a good boy.

Is it a good thing or a bad thing that I'm instead so focused on getting a Hard:Perfect?

I used to have this problem. And then I learned to focus entirely on the notes so I could finally unlock stuff. Just getting Hard/Great on 初音ミクの消失 (The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku) was a fucking bitch. Managed to pull it off, and now I have only 3 costumes left to unlock (MEIKO's, Rin's, and Luka's swimsuits).

What's even funnier about this issue is that there are actual underskirt shots in this game. I'd imagine Len either dying of a nosebleed, or perhaps trying to find a way to protect the sanctity of his one true love.
I vote for the former.

The first part of the game, and Len is already losing.

GOD, I hate that song. I had to change the way I grabbed the PSP(to push the buttons like in a arcade controller). I just couldn´t hit the last notes fast enough with my thumb.
Well, actually, I love the song, but it´s soooo annoying...

After seeing the video of this in youtube, I can completely understand him.

i didn't think i would have this trouble, than i actually played project diva; that game proved otherwise.

additionnaly, that game is rather dificult not just because you have to score high enough to pass the song and time it right to keep your combo (even if you hit the note, you can still lose your combo if its slightley mistimed), but also because the costumes require even more effort and practice to get.

still, its an awesome game. fun, addicting, and awesome (plus the fan service never hurts)

I actually didn't have this problem. At the same time I don't enjoy watching Miku run around in a two piece so it was rather easy to ignore something I wasn't looking for.

when I tried to get hard-excellent on that and kept failing, I actually spent two weeks trying to figure out how to jury-rig a simon controller as an alternate input method

The way it's drawn reminds me more of Doki Doki Majo Shinpan...

Due to my poor focus capacity, the PV´s are not a distraction for me. If i´mwatching the notes, i can ONLY watch the notes
