First time I ever saw this pic it was labeled as being from an Earthbound game. LOL.

Do you realize how incredibly high up that hill would have to be to get a view that good? It's gotta be at least 3x taller than any of those buildings being razed.

japan is a mountain covered island. perhaps the building is on a hill?

It is common for Japanese shrines to be built on the highest point in the city and have a long flight of stairs going to them... But then again it still should not be three times taller than the other buildings. Frankly I think it is just poetic licence -- since if it was realistic the view would be hardly as good.
