I really wish Japanese artists can get the point of NOT inserting American hull numbers between ship prefixes and ship names. Seeing "USS BB-45 Colorado" is just eye-watering!

Unfortunately, that's just... how KC Colorado says it in her "joining fleet" voice line. In comparison, Iowa forego the "USS," whereas Washington and South Dakota forego their hull numbers altogether.
Gangut (594') taller than Colorado (624')? Poor Smolorado...
I think a lot of people just don't realize how short the Gangut was.
You're Cavour? Looks like you're waiting for someone. Now who is it?Bismarck is busy. So, I came here to greet you in her place. So, you are a dreadnought then?Be thankful.Ahem!!No way. You're....quite the pipsqueak.I'm BB-45, USS Colorado!
Yes, Munmu-san put the hull code between the ship prefix and the name, but since Colorado is American, this was switched to how it would sound in English. And I am a super-dreadnought...!
