Togepi is too weak to use rollout with is pitiful attack stat. I just used a pokemon that was resistant to rock types attacks lick Geodude or Machop.

Either poison, put to sleep, or paralyze Miltank so that rollout becomes less effective/takes damage.

I chose cyndaquil as my starter so quilava destroys her easily :D

It's derived from the LeafGreen -> Leaf thing. It's not official, at least not when it was put in place.

Oh alright, I liked the Leaf one because Leaf is an interesting name like Blue or Green, but Soul just feels like some stupid cliche "chosen one" name

Good news: They dropped Akane's PKMN by 1 level for HeartGold/SoulSilver.
Bad news: They gave the Miltank a Lum Berry.

You forgot the other bad news, her Miltank now has the Scrappy Ability. That makes Normal moves able to hit Ghost types.

Well, it was either that or give it the Thick Fat ability, which would screw Cyndaquil players even more than just having Rollout.

Attract was what gave me problems back in Gold/Silver. I wanted to use Croconaw to bite her Miltank so it would flinch, but he was too busy stroking his harbl. Thankfully, my geodude was female, so I beat Akane at her own game.

Didn't she have Defense Curl back in G/S? Remember that shit? DefCurl+Rollout= Goodnight, Irene. ><

I know Whitney's strategy far too much yet I have studied her superior tactics completely... and the ironic side of that statement is that I am a fan of her. Hehehe! Good luck to those reliving this extremely painful nightmare, I'm feeling pretty confident about this fight.

There wasn't a point to using both genders until that happened. It was quite traumatizing. And I didn't feel like training a pokemon from scratch just for one battle.

You forgot the other OTHER bad part. You have to go outside the entrance of the gym to bitchslap Whitney for the badge. If you don't do it again, you may never get the badge and you will have to restartRESTART

When they remade the games, they took the level to STUPID HARD to FUCKING HARD.

It's funny. She does this cheap-ass Repeat attack, without giving a chance to attack. But when she loses, she practically cries to death....

Okay now that's just freaky. Save for the Wooper, this is my team precisely (including the trainer)..... And this is precisely what happened too.

Must've sent it out when Roll out already got going (or critted). Send a Machop out when Miltank comes out and hit it hard with fighting type attacks to make her not use Rollout.
