Funny how we've gone from Polearm characters being the smallest weapon type to the 2nd biggest. Still kinda whack how 3 of them are pyro, though.

Almost a quarter of all playable characters are pyro, them having most of anything is to be expected.

That IS true, we have WAY too many damn pyro characters, but the other elements are definitely catching up now. Also, technically Hydro has Pyro beat when it comes to catalyst users, but that's not saying much considering two of those three are healers.
