There's an EX mode and english mode added in the latest patch. The EX mode has you fight the bosses again, including Rumia (no dialogue) and then you fight Flandre who I had to cheat to beat because I couldn't even find a place to stand without getting hit.

Obviously it's intended to look like a sword here. To me it resembles a combination between the "staff" version of the weapon and the "sword" version, since if I recall correctly the mythology on it lists it as either at different times.
Flandre-sama wielding the "sword" version is amazing. Even apart from the wonderful art as to be expected of koumajou densetsu, I think Laevatein should be drawn in this form more often.
