If you fought Dracula in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, you'd be afraid of him, too. Hell, even in Portrait of Ruin he was a bitch.

And here we see another example of how the caucasian ethnicity is symbolized within the limited features seen in anime: freckles. A character can have blonde hair and blue eyes and still be Japanese, but as soon as there's a few freckles, then you know they're white... I guess it's better than having characters wear clothing practically made out of flags.
Or being stereotyped by their behaviour. Hear hear Colonel Aki for being culturally sensitive, even getting most of the English right! I assume he's aware of us here at Danbooru.

Even without the freckles, if it's a woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes you pretty much assume "American".
So friggin cute god I love Sakuya here lol ~Although it is true that's the joke, it would kind of be reasonable to be scared of a Human creep even though you were human yourself.

Personally, the Ecclesia Dracula's a bigger bastard, since he doesn't absorb Death's powers and transform into a giant bat thing after being sufficiently smacked across the head. Once he's taken enough damage, he turns to face you, starts walking towards you and proceeds to beat the ever-loving shit out of you!
And yes, the above spoiler was necessary since he's never done that before.
Ya know most horror movies have a human killer/evil guy that scares the human audiences quite a lot, so it's no surprise that Dracula scares the little vampire children.
Am I the only person who is thinking of "Saw" all of a sudden? Same species, yes, but defiantly wouldn't like to end up meeting any of those wack-jobs. Thing is its even more scary because this could actually happen.
Even if Remelia wasn't lying I doubt anyone would be happy to have Dracula as a relative. He's like that that psychotic grand-uncle you dread visiting because you know darn well he keeps bodies in the yard.
