Dunno about you guys, but I've never understood why people likes to be too anal when talking about K-on and "zomg this shit ruined animU with lotsa moe and [insert more weird stuff here] kyoani is shit".

Why can't people understand some animes were just made to be simple with no big pretentions? :x

I can name 10 moe anime for every non-moe anime.

I won't call it a fact, but moe anime is so successful that the industry focuses on it and thus produces less quality anime.

Well, yeah... but there's also good moe (K-on)... and really shitty one (Strike Witches).

In K-on, at least you see what's going on with the girls (and remembering The Beatles in some way lmao). The other... ugh, Gonzo at its worst (and I thought that wouldn't be possible).

Oh please! I enjoyed the interactions that was in Strike Witches with the backdrop of WWII-esque environment. At the same time, I easily zoned out the "no pants, OMG!"

I couldn't even get through one episode of K-ON, without facepalming at Yui and other crap. It was worse than me trying to stomach Haruhi.
