As cool as it looks, this thing isn't going five feet without tipping over.
It would definitely need a gyroscope, being basically an armored segway, but there doesn't appear to be room for a big enough one to matter.
Also, it looks awkward as fuck having the gun's trigger up so high. (I also think having an unarmored gas can just sitting on the outside of the vehicle in the parent post is begging for someone to ignite that. I doubt the armor is all that thick, so an explosion could penetrate it, and even if it didn't, it's going to get hot in that tin can, and rather smokey...)

Isn't this fairly normal? I'm pretty sure I've seen numerous examples of armored vehicles equipped with external fuel reserves. If it's good enough for real-world tank designers, I'm willing to give a concept artist the benefit of the doubt.
Besides, it's just a jerry can, so apart from an ambush situation there's no reason to actually carry it into combat.

Real tanks have thicker armor than this thing is likely to have - I suspect it's only really meant to stop small arms - so it may actually get damaged by that gas can exploding. Beyond that, it also looks to be right next to the vent, so it could easily be putting smoke or even fire directly into the vent.
Speaking of ventilation, the "turret" vent is on the back side, and I don't see any casing collector (or spare clip holder for the gun), so even if a lot of smoke goes out the barrel, any that goes back through the ammo or casing port is going to have to go through the space where the pilot's head goes... I'm not sure how far that turret can turn, either, but the fact that the pilot has to stay facing forwards makes the turret's firing position even more awkward. It really would be better served as a remote-controlled device from that monitor, ideally as a self-contained turret... you know, if they could counter-balance it properly.
