The longer this goes on, the more apparent it is that Blondie really is her best friend.

Blind girl has to be suffering from delusion because Rodgers could never do this. It's either that or the artist is creatively bankrupt.

It's honestly not even triggering anymore it's just a sense of "oh this again". When the whole world is a bully it feels cheap.

You could see at as a joke, or satire of the anime trope of making the main character the victim of ludicrous levels of bullying as justification for rooting for them/excusing a war crime here or there.
Which I genuinely could see this leading too.

This feels like we've wound up in a messed up timeline accidentally and all of us have somehow managed to become a single conscience. (Un?)fortunately, we've ended up being spirited into blind girl's dog.

I liked the story arc with the dog and the blonde girl because it was a legitimate bait and switch from what I was expecting and actually led to something interesting happening. When its things like this, its the shock jock thing where the dynamic's only purpose is to rile the audience and I lose all interest.

At least that one was pretty good stuff and seeing the blonde girl get "humiliated" by a dog was better compare to this.

I'm 98% sure this is actually a parody of Boogie2988, who used to be known as the 'Mr. Rogers of the Internet' at one distant point in the past but, in reality, turns out to be just as toxic as this...

Weirdly enough, this Mr. Rogers seems less character assassinating than the Black Dynamite version

Sorry to said that, but the artist is an asshole at this point, because he seems to doing it on pupose to trigger people out.

As i said: some day he will find someone who isn't as tolerant as us to his bs, and would find the heel from the shoes if keep doing this, and people will turn blind eye on him when he will most need it. Unless he doesn't care and just double/triple/quadruple down with this.

I don't take all serious honestly, because at this point i think he try to capitalize of this by put the character in this situation always on purpose (he even admit it).

You're getting awfully pissed over a picture a guy drew being mean to his own character, which he created to be mean to. In all reality, nobody would pay attention if this wasn't the main gag.
And all and all it's been a pretty entertaining series. So chill please.

Are you implying, possibly even endorsing, someone will do something malicious to the artist over fictional characters they created?

It seems a little weird to be listening to all this negative commentary toward an author/artist (to the point where they're even talking about blacklisting) for showing his character being scorned, bullied and insulted - on a site where people don't bat an eyelash over regular postings of young women being gang-raped.

That's the familiarity bias talking, aside from the 'cannot distinguish fiction from reality' and several other.
If anyone don't know what 'familiarity bias' was, it can be explained shortly as 'one will feel more attached to object/person/anything you've encountered repeatedly'. A character that has been drawn repeatedly on the receiving end of a bully would gather more concern than a one-off drawing of woman getting gang-raped. Morality talks and multiverse theory aside, these character wasn't a living being, and if you actually felt something against the artist over these drawings, then you need to calm down and maybe put that energy somewhere else, like, applying to the local police squad.

I tried that, I got fired after shooting four weirdoest in purple robes trying to stab a fifth one.
Turned out it was an improvised representation of Julius Caesar, and I killed four actors.

I want to point out one thing. Do notice that the text for rogers shifts and bends just like her parents. I suspect this is probably her own depression misreading what he says this time around.

Here is, what I assume is what he said.
    ---
"Greetings everyone, today I got a letter from a young blind girl, what I first noticed when I got it is that the letter smelled rather unique, though I can't be sure, she may be living on a farm as the smell reminds me of the countryside.

Now, the letter is written in French so the translation is possibly not accurate so I recommend trying to write in English if you can. But I appreciate the effort.

I hope this young girl is watching and I assure her that the fishes are doing fine, but..." and then he will likely lead in on a lesson about life and death as he has done to teach kids about the heavier subjects without them feeling too overwhelming.
    ---
    But that's just my interpretation.

    -

Edit. I really, really, really disapprove of the artist reflecting Rogers in this light though.

Misrepresenting fictional characters is completely fine by me. But doing it with real people, especially folk like Rogers just feels... wrong

Like an edgy kid trying to be edgy for edgy sake and utterly failing at doing it well.

I get that artists are free to draw what they want, and I know I'm getting upset over a picture I can admit that. Mr.Rogers was a great man that had done great things. I know it's done for attention but man, Mr.Rogers doesn't deserve this. Best to just let it slide and just remember Mr.Rogers like the man he really was, that's what he would have wanted. I wish he would draw happier things.

Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, there's a story of Mr. Rogers getting a letter from a blind girl concerned about whether he feeds his fish. Afterwards, he would mention it whenever he feeds the fish on the show.

Yeah, I noticed that too and thought the same thing.

But seriously, why did the author have to do Mr Rogers like this? Like…why? Just give her one good thing, dammit!
