Oh wow... she must have fucked up real bad to be straight up terminated while being the #1 income generator for Cover (as far as SC are concerned; not sure on memberships)... they're even canceling next merch line and refunding preorders AND deleting the channel at the end of march...
It'll suck for the rest of the girls too - morons are gonna harass them for details that they can never give...

Reportedly, the reason why Rushia is straight up got terminated is because she allegedly leaks various information about the whole drama to a Japanese vtuber drama channel under the guise of "anonymous Cover employee". Leaking of company information is a serious contact breach, so that's why this happened.
I thought it was just all bullshit but damn. This is probably the worse situation possible that Cover actually went and done and I didn’t believe they would do. No, I probably had a feeling buried deep down but forced myself to think otherwise.
Wow. Just wow. Just fucking wow. I guess the Holodream was just a that, a dream. And it was stupid of me to have gotten sucked into this. I was supposed to have left on the day Coco left but still stayed because in the end I was honestly a little happy to be in the moment. I guess, I was happy even though I feel I’d have to break away eventually. But a dream, no matter how good it is, you eventually have to wake up from it. And I want to still be able to keep the good memories of it while I still can.
Farewell, my sweet and fleeting days of smaller bliss. At least I know that there are still some parts of me who want to believe the innocences and happiness that can come from people and the world, plus a few songs and music to remember by of that moment in time. Until we meet again, in another niche and fandom. And for now, let my final wish for all this just be remaining completely ignorant of everything, please.

Apparently she was in contact with someone outside the company and told them sensitive information, as well as making a new twitter and youtube pages. She seriously broke NDA which was why Cover was forced to fire their most lucrative talent.

I'm honestly surprised they told us as much as they did regarding her actions leading up to her termination. I'm reminded of when Jitomi Monoe from VOMS got canned. They just said it was a serious breach of contract and nothing else. I guess we should be happy(?) or at least somewhat satisfied they gave us a solid reason for her firing. Otherwise, fans would go nuts looking for some closure as to why exactly she got the boot. This is still a shit situation all around seeing as how they're basically deleting Rushia from the company but at least there's no mystery here as to why its happening. People are definitely gonna argue whether or not this is a proper response but I think we all knew from the start that Cover is a serious company and contracts are contracts no matter what your job is or where you work.
I'm kinda biased here. While I do understand a breach of contract IS a breach of contract, end of story... A part of me is not satisfied, because I have only the word of the company to trust about the whole issue.
And it's a company with a dubious record on how they treat their human assets, see...

Consider the following: Money. Cover has nothing to gain from firing her, only lost profits and a bad reputation from paranoid "fans" who think Cover is always at fault for everything.

Marketing stunt to drum up support? However we're also not sure entirely what she leaked. It could be personal information on other talent, terrible practices they engage in, just slander, etc. Though I doubt we'll ever know for sure.
...What the hell could they possibly be marketing to lose one of their biggest moneymakers and risk losing trust among fans? I don't exactly trust management, but I doubt they would do something this drastic unless they absolutely had to.

Please elaborate on their "dubious record" cause I don't recall Cover ever mistreating their talents. At worst, that we know of, they mismanaged some incidents outside of their control, due to a lack of established protocols for said incidents.

Apparently she sent a dramatuber she was friends with before Hololive screenshots proving she wasn't in a relationship with mafumafu, and those pictures had contractors, staff and talents in them that she didn't censor, and the dramatuber also didn't notice which caused a lot of behind the scene staffers getting doxxed.

If it's just faking her termination it still puts a massive spotlight on her. Imagine all of the donations being extremely positive and welcoming her back if that was the case.
