Looks like the gun that would be born if M16A4 and MP5A4 would mate... <.<" Stock, clip and handle seems just like from MP5 along with the barrel but the iron sight is from M16A4/M4A2 along with a EJOD-sight...
Hm, now that you say, I've seen this gun in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Sig552 Commando, one of the best guns in the game and a starter weapon to boot.
But to be honest, the perspective presented in the image does make it look like an MP5 because of the stock. A side view would've made us realize it was much too long to be an MP5.
That and I don't much acquaint myself with guns. I prefer to acquaint myself with vehicles and aircraft.

You can tell it's a Sig 552 from other pictures, but in this one it is fairly hard to tell. Yes, the gas tube and fore end is a giveaway that it's not a MP5 or an AR, but it could be any number of other guns.
The Sig has an HK-style ring front sight that doesn't fold down - this particular one does look like an AR-15 type folding front sight, so the M16 connection is understandable. There's a protrusion behind the handguard which looks like a charging handle behind the MP5 and is absent on the Sig, plus the magazine is drawn entirely out of proportion for 5.56, and it lacks the studs Sig mags have to connect to one another.
