Guys, we don't have to give up on her. If you wanna hear her voice again look for Mikeneko or みけねこ and support her.
I really despise how many people are okay with corporate ownership. It feels so dystopian.
In any case, I made this because Rushia always was my most beloved Vtuber ever. She made me laugh and smile, and warmed my heart many, many times. I do not want it to end just because some paper says it should.

She's already back to her business and is getting a ton of supports.

At this point it's a trademark.
Along with her death metal screams.

While I agree with the statement, I don't agree with the sentiment as it pertains to this situation. Though we'll never know what happened in this controversy, and there are points against Cover concerning their intentions, I am more apt to believe them simply due to the financial aspect of it. Say what you will about companies, but when it comes to money, everything else is second, so for them to TERMINATE Rushia and not even graduate her who, according to Playboard at least, made the most in superchats outta ALL of Youtube means something major must have occurred. To put this into perspective, Rushia beat #3 on the list, Lamy, by 1.5x, so she was their golden goose. You just don't take that goose behind the shed for small shit.

If I were to put my tin foil hat on, I'd say that it is what it looks like: Rushia shared the company's discord, or other means of communication, to a 3rd party, probably in a bid to clear her name over the recent mafu incident. If this "sharing" included access to her account, then Rushia may have let this 3rd party have access to the nuclear launch codes of Hololive; the identities of their vtubers. That would be enough to justify immediate termination without a graduation, at least in my opinion. This sequence of events as I proposed it, however, is most likely not accurate because the information in this is so sparse, so maybe someone else could help fill in the gaps.

Of course, I could be wrong and it is just Cover using a small controversy to push Rushia outta the company for one reason or another. That kinda felt like the case with Coco, so its not without merit. Regardless, I too hope things go well for her as MikeNeko, but it won't be something I will be supporting. I was not one of those simps who were kicking up a fuss over the mafu incident, but I am one of those silent watchers who felt a certain way about it, even if it was incredibly minor feeling. So yes, being free of Cover lets her be free of "dystopian corporate ownership", but it also makes her free of many of her viewers.

Well more time has passed and I heard a few more things about what Rushia did and threatened to do to Cover. Granted it's unconfirmed and will likely never be confirmed but she might have had access to critical company information and threatened to expose it to the public on her way out the door just to be spiteful. If that was the case, then NO OTHER COMPANY would ever employ her again, be in Vtubing or anything else that would allow her to have access to such information. I can see such event to force Cover to flat out wipe her like that.

Bottom line is that Rushia likely did or said some seriously heinous things that resulted in burned bridges with Hololive. Aloe and Coco are always welcomed back to Hololive when ever they want, Rushia will never be welcomed back. She's going to be stuck as an Indy for now on unless another company is crazy enough to take a risk with her. Rushia is not a mentally well woman irl.
