Based on what we have been given it's less hate and more upset with the shit he did but seeing where his coming from but not really wholeheartedly agreeing with it and just resorting to pretending he doesn't exist whenever they meet.
I do that do with my siblings whenever I reach my limit with them or they really managed to get on my nerves.
